Vanessa Jackson et al. 2025](https://felicityallen.co.uk/being-john-smith-not-being-john-smith-by-felicity-allen-in-discourse-2025/): The anthology Discourse has just come out, published by the Royal Academy’s Discourse group, a beautifully designed eclectic collection by mainly artists and architects. Available £15 from RA bookshop – or contact me. At the beginning of this year, I was knocked sideways by John Smith’s brilliant film Being John Smith and my response ‘Being John Smith, Not Being John Smith’ fitted right into Discourse.
