Evaluation and research

At Tate Britain Felicity developed a comprehensive strategy for evaluation and research ensuring that all evaluation was purposeful and necessary. She developed

_ research programmes to link to durational participatory projects: Sure Start, (pre-school and family), VerbalEyes (schoolchildren), Tate Forum (youth)
_ evaluation and research to support successful funding bids
_ partnerships to include Tate programmes in significant research programmes  (see the Education of Looked After Children Seminar)
_ the environment to develop a partnership towards a successful major AHRC bid resulting in the pioneering research programme Tate Encounters

_ programmes such as Visual Dialogues (youth) with an integral programme of self-reflexive evaluation and practice-sharing
_ visitor studies as a vehicle for testing the effectiveness of new forms of in-gallery Interpretation
